A very good chance for a goal. 11 minutes into the match, Chute de Ouro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel da Rocha came free, but Tor Echegoyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Marcel da Rocha took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Tor Echegoyen to make any attempt to save it. 25 minutes into the match, Red Devils's Marcel da Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tor Echegoyen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Patxi in the 26th minute of play forced Red Devils's goalkeeper Braulio Gartxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Chute de Ouro FC's Eric Simion nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braulio Gartxot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 31 minutes into the match, Marcel da Rocha notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Chute de Ouro FC's Tor Echegoyen. Tor Echegoyen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 37 minutes, Amador Patxi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chute de Ouro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amador Patxi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tor Echegoyen made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Simone Spano sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Marcel da Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tor Echegoyen was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Simion got free with Braulio Gartxot in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Red Devils's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
