The audience thought a goal was coming when Baybora Yaren got free with Gjermund Aabel in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Altay Bayındır showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Óbolo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Son Adam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SARI ZEYBEK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Son Adam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute Baybora Yaren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gjermund Aabel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Son Adam scored 2-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gjermund Aabel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baybora Yaren struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Gjermund Aabel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SARI ZEYBEK. After a rather tough play, Sagene IF's Hans-Kristian Aanes got a free kick in the 42nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Son Adam in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gjermund Aabel saved Sagene IF from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Hans-Kristian Aanes made the kick off in the second half. SARI ZEYBEK's Baybora Yaren got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, SARI ZEYBEK's Son Adam nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gjermund Aabel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Gjermund Aabel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Moon in the 60th minute of play. SARI ZEYBEK's Oğuz Çetin was substituted for Baybora Yaren. SARI ZEYBEK's Sezai Hünerli was substituted for Son Adam. After having played for 68 minutes, William Knutsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sagene IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Knutsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Sezai Hünerli came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the SARI ZEYBEK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sezai Hünerli couldn't finish the play. The supporters of SARI ZEYBEK booed when Sagene IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Bergum didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Oğuz Çetin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gjermund Aabel was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Sagene IF made a substitution. Kjell Ekeli replaced Torstein Solli. Oğuz Çetin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Gjermund Aabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sezai Hünerli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gjermund Aabel having to interfere. Oğuz Çetin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gjermund Aabel having to make a save. 95 minutes into the match, Sagene IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sezai Hünerli came free, but Gjermund Aabel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SARI ZEYBEK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
