With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eric Simion in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavlos Konstantakakis saved Hamburg Fighters from getting behind. Chute de Ouro FC's Tor Echegoyen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianni Balla in the 16th minute of play. Dinu Bocus short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Tor Echegoyen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Chute de Ouro FC's Tor Echegoyen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Chute de Ouro FC from getting a goal against them. Tor Echegoyen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianni Balla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Pavlos Konstantakakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Ruy França was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chute de Ouro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hamburg Fighters the free kick. After a rather tough play, Chute de Ouro FC's Ruy França got a free kick in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Gianni Balla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tor Echegoyen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chute de Ouro FC's Tor Echegoyen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Chute de Ouro FC from getting a goal against them. Pavlos Konstantakakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niculae Tătaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Chute de Ouro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gianni Balla came free, but Tor Echegoyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gianluca Balla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Tor Echegoyen made a huge save. Amador Patxi hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Hamburg Fighters's Gianni Balla got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amador Patxi to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gianni Balla in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tor Echegoyen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianni Balla in the 54th minute of play forced Chute de Ouro FC's goalkeeper Tor Echegoyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pavlos Konstantakakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Patxi in the 55th minute of the match. Chute de Ouro FC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Hamburg Fighters's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benê Breckenfeld took the corner. Eric Simion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Pavlos Konstantakakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a left leg Tor Echegoyen saved Chute de Ouro FC from getting behind. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chute de Ouro FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wieslaw Obuchowicz was slow to take the kick. During this time Hamburg Fighters's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianni Balla in the 89th minute of play forced Chute de Ouro FC's goalkeeper Tor Echegoyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Simion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Pavlos Konstantakakis made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Ivo Simões took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Pavlos Konstantakakis to make any attempt to save it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hamburg Fighters had played much better football throughout.
