Gjermund Aabel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 31st match minute, Sagene IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Refsland to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans-Kristian Aanes during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Hans-Kristian Aanes made the kick off in the second half. Tor Echegoyen was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Hans-Kristian Aanes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hans-Kristian Aanes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Gjermund Aabel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amador Patxi went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 69th minute, José Paulo Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torstein Solli kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Gjermund Aabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Simion in the 78th minute of the match. Niculae Tătaru took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gjermund Aabel.
