When Wieslaw Komanski came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Liwocz Brzyska fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wieslaw Komanski couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Sagene IF's Christer Claussen got a free kick in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Jacek Mnich cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gjermund Aabel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 18 minutes into the match, Liwocz Brzyska's goal looked a bit too open when Hans-Kristian Aanes came free, but Tymoteusz Tyskie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Knutsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Zula Przebendowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liwocz Brzyska's supporters rose to their feet, but Zula Przebendowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gjermund Aabel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gjermund Aabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacek Mnich in the 27th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Sagene IF's Tymoteusz Tyskie threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hans-Kristian Aanes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 33 minutes into the match, Jacek Mnich had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gjermund Aabel. Sagene IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacek Mnich was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Liwocz Brzyska's Tymoteusz Tyskie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Kristian Aanes in the 35th minute of play. Hans-Kristian Aaness short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Tymoteusz Tyskie to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 37 minutes into the match, Jacek Mnich had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gjermund Aabel. Sagene IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacek Mnich was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Mnich in the 41st minute of play forced Sagene IF's goalkeeper Gjermund Aabel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacek Mnich stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Liwocz Brzyska's Zula Przebendowski got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gjermund Aabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacek Mnich in the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Jacek Mnich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gjermund Aabel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Tanek Kazanowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Liwocz Brzyska's goal looked a bit too open when Hans-Kristian Aanes came free, but Tymoteusz Tyskie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sagene IF's zone, Jacek Mnich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gjermund Aabel came out of the goal and Jacek Mnich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sagene IF's Kjell Ekeli was substituted for Torstein Solli. After a rather tough play, Liwocz Brzyska's Jacek Mnich got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Jacek Mnich ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gjermund Aabel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Tymoteusz Tyskie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Knutsen in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Liwocz Brzyska eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
