Pavlos Konstantakakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Isauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Gianluca Balla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Zenon Dembkowski made a huge save. Pavlos Konstantakakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Gregory in the 10th minute of the match. Zenon Dembkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gianluca Balla in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Gianni Balla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zenon Dembkowski. The goal made the score 1-0. Zenon Dembkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianni Balla in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gianni Balla in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zenon Dembkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, Artemio Isauro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pavlos Konstantakakis. Hamburg Fighters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artemio Isauro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With an all-out effort, Hamburg Fighters's Zenon Dembkowski threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dinu Bocu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 32nd minute, Hamburg Fighters's Dinu Bocu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinu Bocu got free with Zenon Dembkowski in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hamburg Fighters's goalkeeper Pavlos Konstantakakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zenon Dembkowski made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Dinu Bocu sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Hamburg Fighters's zone, Feliciano Bizen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavlos Konstantakakis came out of the goal and Feliciano Bizen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dinu Bocu to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Peyote's goal looked a bit too open when Gianni Balla came free, but Zenon Dembkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Gianluca Balla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zenon Dembkowski. After 61 minutes Hamburg Fighters's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jeremie Frimpong who took care of the corner kick. Hamburg Fighters's Pavlos Konstantakakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Bizen in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Peyote getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. İslam Ekinci hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Gianluca Balla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hamburg Fighters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Gianni Balla struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Zenon Dembkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hamburg Fighters. Gianluca Balla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Hamburg Fighters's Pavlos Konstantakakis got control of the ball when Feliciano Bizen tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Hamburg Fighters's Gianluca Balla in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
