In the 6th minute Aleksander Kissel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buturugã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FA Sandtown's Radowit Trzaskoma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özgür Özbay in the 7th minute of play. Benoit Van Bettenrode fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Buturugã having to interfere. When Benoit Van Bettenrode came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the FA Sandtown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benoit Van Bettenrode couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Özgür Özbay could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Radowit Trzaskoma however easily saved by the left post. George Buturugã made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Kissel in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Radowit Trzaskoma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Özgür Özbay. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sulo Montaña in the 31st minute of play forced FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Radowit Trzaskoma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sulo Montaña to make the kick off. Radowit Trzaskoma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, FA Sandtown's Ludomir Tarka got a free kick in the 59th minute. Kajetan Pusiaks short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got George Buturugã to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ludomir Tarka kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Habib Durukan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's goal looked a bit too open when Sulo Montaña came free, but Radowit Trzaskoma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Buturugã showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benoit Van Bettenrode in the 68th minute of the match. George Buturugã stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benoit Van Bettenrode's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in LOI's zone, Benoit Van Bettenrode stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Buturugã came out of the goal and Benoit Van Bettenrode tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radowit Trzaskoma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. LOI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ahmet Hamdi Ortan in the 80th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ahmet Hamdi Ortan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Radowit Trzaskoma quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Radowit Trzaskoma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, George Buturugã successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Özgür Özbay's late challenge caught a FA Sandtown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Özgür Özbay helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FA Sandtown booed when LOI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özgür Özbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. LOI made a substitution. Kerimhan Cevher replaced Sulo Montaña. Özgür Özbay hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes, Gwidon Niezywy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FA Sandtown and the LOI players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FA Sandtown getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Gwidon Niezywy hit a great ball. Many of FA Sandtown's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FA Sandtown may have spent more time on the ball, but LOI were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
