A collision led to Nova Soccer getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Zenaido Aramoyana hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Shearer in the 19th minute of play forced Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Maurilio Duque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nistor Maghiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piero Quispe in the 24th minute of play. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nistor Maghiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Minerul Baita -MM- from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Nova Soccer getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Piero Quispe hit a great ball. Maurilio Duque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niculae Şantău in the 29th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciprian Alexe couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Allan Shearer to make the kick off. Ciprian Alexe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurilio Duque having to interfere. In the 53rd minute Allan Shearer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurilio Duque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Shearer in the 56th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Dantel Ayllon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nistor Maghiar. Minerul Baita -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dantel Ayllon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Maurilio Duque stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Qiu Wei Ting's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute of the match Minerul Baita -MM- got a corner. Nova Soccer's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Qiu Wei Ting ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Minerul Baita -MM-'s corner Niculae Şantău fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maurilio Duque quite easily take care of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Minerul Baita -MM- left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nova Soccer.
