Club Almirante Brown's Nicanor Ceandro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eric Clegg, made in the 7th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the match, Club Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Ermegildo Pacorro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anier Eneko. After a defensive mix-up in Club Almirante Brown's zone, Pierce Gerrard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Pacorro came out of the goal and Pierce Gerrard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermegildo Pacorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Emander in the 16th minute of play. Ermegildo Pacorro was a little too slow when Anier Eneko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. Club Almirante Brown's Ermegildo Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Donnelly in the 19th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Anier Eneko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ermegildo Pacorro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ermegildo Pacorro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anier Eneko in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute Anier Eneko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Pacorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Felix Gines fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Almirante Brown's protests and gave Felix Gines a yellow card for diving instead. Ermegildo Pacorro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pierce Gerrard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play. Felix Gines scored 3-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pepe Le Petit, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felix Gines stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ermegildo Pacorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Eneko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of TibaDons booed when Club Almirante Brown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Gines didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Nicanor Ceandro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermegildo Pacorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Erik Öberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TibaDons's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dennis Bellomo in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute Anier Eneko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Pacorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pepe Le Petit was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Benedicto Chale capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benedicto Chale really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Club Almirante Brown's Wilfredo Segio was substituted for Felix Gines. Club Almirante Brown's Guido Bautista was substituted for Benedicto Chale. Fabricio Lorencio charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabricio Lorencio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabricio Lorencio kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 83rd match minute, Club Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Etxepare to maneuver through the defense. Ermegildo Pacorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierce Gerrard, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Pepe Le Petit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Bautista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of TibaDons booed when Club Almirante Brown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Bautista didn't get a good kick on the ball. TibaDons's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
