In the 4th minute of the match FA Sandtown got a corner. Metalducks's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Radomil Barys ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to FA Sandtown's Sebastian Larsson getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Aleksander Engström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benoit Van Bettenrode went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Sebastian Larsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Benoit Van Bettenrode shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleksander Engström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benoit Van Bettenrode showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. In the 20th minute FA Sandtown were awarded a corner. Radomil Barys went to the cornerflag to take it. Gwidon Niezywy made a great header on FA Sandtown's corner, it was just that Metalducks's Aleksander Engström managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Metalducks's Arvid Jonasson got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Aleksander Engström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benoit Van Bettenrode, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 27 minutes of play, FA Sandtown's Benoit Van Bettenrode made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benoit Van Bettenrode to strike the kick off in the second half. Metalducks's Aleksander Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Kissel in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FA Sandtown fans cheered their team off the field, for while Metalducks had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
