Shawn Plummer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jouni Markkula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th match minute, GrassNuts FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre-Emile Højbjerg to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Huang Gang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, FK BLAZER's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Emile Højbjerg came free, but Shawn Plummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Vitaliy van der Aa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Shawn Plummer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute, Jimmy Wiley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shawn Plummer came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by GrassNuts FC's Vitaliy van der Aa. But to his dismay, Vitaliy van der Aa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, FK BLAZER's Philip Llewellyn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esbjörn Tunander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Vitaliy van der Aa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 33 minutes of play, GrassNuts FC's Vitaliy van der Aa made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shawn Plummer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daryl Adcock got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Philip Llewellyn. Shawn Plummer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philip Åkerman went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vitaliy van der Aa was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Romeo Farias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vitaliy van der Aa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. GrassNuts FC's Esbjörn Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pete Kitching in the 56th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as GrassNuts FC's Philip Åkerman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Shawn Plummer. That made the score 0-6 after 57 minutes of play. 62 minutes into the game, Vitaliy van der Aa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GrassNuts FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK BLAZER the free kick. After 62 played minutes GrassNuts FC got a freekick which was hit by Vitaliy van der Aa. 66 minutes into the match, GrassNuts FC's goal looked a bit too open when Des Wildman came free, but Esbjörn Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th match minute, GrassNuts FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Huang Gang to maneuver through the defense. Esbjörn Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Llewellyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esbjörn Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Llewellyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Daryl Adcock in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by GrassNuts FC's Jouni Markkula. A collision led to GrassNuts FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Philip Åkerman hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Daryl Adcock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, FK BLAZER's Shawn Plummer got control of the ball when Vitaliy van der Aa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Philip Åkerman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shawn Plummer. FK BLAZER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philip Åkerman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. In the 95th minute Pierre-Emile Højbjerg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shawn Plummer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esbjörn Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Des Wildman in the 96th minute of play.
