The audience thought a goal was coming when Binjamin Ketelers got free with Angel-Enrique Comizzo in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, SK Dreigoten's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Skark came free, but Marcos Díaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alf Björk in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Díaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SK Dreigoten's Marcos Díaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Björk in the 27th minute of play. Angel-Enrique Comizzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mathieu Toussain's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 33 minutes, Mathieu Toussain made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Blue Angels's Angel-Enrique Comizzo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Markus Berg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Díaz. SK Dreigoten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Markus Berg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 38 played minutes SK Dreigoten got a freekick which was hit by Arnout Worteleers. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Binjamin Ketelers managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Dreigoten's supporters rose to their feet, but Binjamin Ketelers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel-Enrique Comizzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute Binjamin Ketelers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alf Björk scored 1-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Díaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrik Skark made a kick off. Marcos Díaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Skark in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Blue Angels's Markus Berg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Díaz. Marcos Díaz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 62nd minute Binjamin Ketelers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SK Dreigoten's attentive Arnout Worteleers managed to snatch the ball when Johan Bangsbo made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. Angel-Enrique Comizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Wirinckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Michael Wirinckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When SK Dreigoten's Michael Wirinckx in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blue Angels's goalie prevented a goal. SK Dreigoten's Marcos Díaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save SK Dreigoten from getting a goal against them. Blue Angels were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after SK Dreigoten's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aleksandar Ivanov took the corner. After 83 minutes SK Dreigoten's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aleksandar Ivanov who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, SK Dreigoten's Marcos Díaz got control of the ball when Alf Björk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Blue Angels made a substitution. Ted Björk replaced Robin Söder. Blue Angels's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aleksandar Ivanov in the 93rd minute. Rudy Vandendriessche thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Marcos Díaz, a very annoying self made goal in the 93rd minute which led to 1-4. Blue Angels made a substitution. Marcus Berg replaced Markus Berg. The SK Dreigoten supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Blue Angels's performance. The match ended with a win for Blue Angels.
