Marcos Díaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Des Wildman in the 12th minute of play. Shawn Plummer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathieu Toussain in the 14th minute. Jimmy Wiley kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Roderik Van den Berch might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Shawn Plummer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roderik Van den Berch ran back to his position shaking his head. Des Wildman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Díaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Shawn Plummer made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Arnout Worteleers sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Llewellyn in the 22nd minute of play forced SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Marcos Díaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathieu Toussain took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shawn Plummer. Shawn Plummer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 26 minutes into the game, FK BLAZER's Pete Kitching nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Díaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Mathieu Toussain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Shawn Plummer made a huge save. Marcos Díaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Des Wildman's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, SK Dreigoten's Rudy Vandendriessche seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rudy Vandendriessche the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SK Dreigoten protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rudy Vandendriessche had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 37 minutes into the game, one of SK Dreigoten:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for FK BLAZER. Garth Kennedy stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcos Díaz. 2-2. After 42 minutes, Tim Byfield mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK BLAZER and the SK Dreigoten players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Tim Byfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Philip Llewellyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Des Wildman in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Díaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michael Wirinckx made a kick off. Marcos Díaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pete Kitching in the 54th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Garth Kennedy managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK BLAZER's supporters rose to their feet, but Garth Kennedy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Díaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shawn Plummer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qwinten Strupar, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Shawn Plummer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roderik Van den Berch went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. FK BLAZER's Shawn Plummer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnout Worteleers in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of SK Dreigoten booed when FK BLAZER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olly Butterfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. When FK BLAZER's Des Wildman in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Shawn Plummer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SK Dreigoten's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
