The corner led to Hexo Utd's Adolfo Brandão getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Max Limont prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 12 minutes, Dolf Schoonderwoerd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Underdogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dolf Schoonderwoerd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Vytautas Baikštys came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Max Limont made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Dolf Schoonderwoerd sent off a good shot on target. Jan Wessel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilmantas Kalinauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Adolfo Brandão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Wessel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Mar Cheze came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 35th minute of play forced Hexo Utd's goalkeeper Max Limont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Piearres Olalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Limont saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Wessel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulius Rožėnas in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dolf Schoonderwoerd to make the kick off. The supporters of The Underdogs booed when Hexo Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Klack didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Wessel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vytautas Baikštys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dolf Schoonderwoerd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Limont having to interfere. Iustin Hațegan took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Max Limont. Max Limont dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Jan Wessel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mar Cheze in the 64th minute. The Underdogs's Jan Wessel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vytautas Baikštys in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute Dolf Schoonderwoerd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Limont saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piearres Olalla in the 71st minute of play forced Hexo Utd's goalkeeper Max Limont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Dolf Schoonderwoerd managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Underdogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Dolf Schoonderwoerd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Limont breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vytautas Baikštys in the 90th minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jan Wessel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Mar Cheze made a precise shot to the right of Jan Wessel. The Underdogs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Jan Wessel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulius Rožėnas in the 95th minute of play. The The Underdogs supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hexo Utd's performance. The match ended with a win for Hexo Utd.
