Without hesitation aimed to the right of Piet Bernstorn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Suphi Verim had several of the Yozgat SK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 24 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Piet Bernstorn as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some careless play in the Yozgat SK defense, Yüksel Refah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Piet Bernstorn. The Yozgat SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Piet Bernstorn should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Birvan Spor Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Resulhan Toktahan came free, but Henry de Vries reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes Yozgat SK got a freekick which was hit by Faruk Akel. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Resulhan Toktahan was the one to do the kick off. When Bayındır Tüney came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Yozgat SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bayındır Tüney couldn't finish the play. Piet Bernstorn came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Birvan Spor Kulübü's Suphi Verim. But to his dismay, Suphi Verim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Birvan Spor Kulübü made a substitution. Tolga Gözlem replaced Leonard Billström. Birvan Spor Kulübü's Abdulbaki Osmanoğlu was substituted for Ciprian Mârza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pankracy Modrzewski in the 77th minute of play forced Yozgat SK's goalkeeper Piet Bernstorn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
