Juan Ignacio Circelli started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Ignacio Circelli in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Wessel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcos Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piearres Olalla in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Juan Ignacio Circelli made a precise shot to the right of Jan Wessel. The Underdogs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 13th minute of play forced Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper Marcos Burni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Burni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Juan Ignacio Circelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Wessel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Ignacio Circelli scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Wessel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Ignacio Circelli came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dolf Schoonderwoerd got free with Marcos Burni in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to The Underdogs getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Fernan Arixo hit a great ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Olliver Van Meirhaeghe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berserkers FC Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olliver Van Meirhaeghe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A throw-in in the 38th minute of the game was made by André Luiz Linares with Robin Boelens as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Riemer Fries made in the 43rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Robin Boelens. When Dolf Schoonderwoerd fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Underdogs's protests and gave Dolf Schoonderwoerd a yellow card for diving instead. Patricio Lluterio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Piearres Olalla made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank de Boer during the 54th minute. The corner led Berserkers FC Ψ's Arnoldo Txema to fire away a dangerous shot which Jan Wessel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 66thth minute of the game Dolf Schoonderwoerd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berserkers FC Ψ's Marcos Burni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcos Burni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 75 minutes into the match, Berserkers FC Ψ's Cipriano Munhoz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Wessel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jan Wessel was a little too slow when Cipriano Munhoz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-3. Frank de Boer hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After having played for 83 minutes, Cipriano Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berserkers FC Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Munhoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cipriano Munhoz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Jan Wessel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 93 minutes into the match, Dolf Schoonderwoerd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Burni. Berserkers FC Ψ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dolf Schoonderwoerd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Berserkers FC Ψ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
