Jan Wessel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pankracy Modrzewski in the 7th minute of play. Dolf Schoonderwoerd might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henry de Vries. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dolf Schoonderwoerd ran back to his position shaking his head. Dolf Schoonderwoerd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Henry de Vries made a huge save. After some careless play in the Birvan Spor Kulübü defense, Dolf Schoonderwoerd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry de Vries. The Birvan Spor Kulübü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry de Vries should have stopped the shot. Henry de Vries stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dolf Schoonderwoerd's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Dolf Schoonderwoerd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 18th minute of play forced Birvan Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Henry de Vries to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Dolf Schoonderwoerd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dolf Schoonderwoerd got free with Henry de Vries in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the game, Dolf Schoonderwoerd cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Henry de Vries was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 34 played minutes The Underdogs got a freekick which was hit by Dolf Schoonderwoerd. Michal Bycofski got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Suphi Verim. In the 38th match minute, The Underdogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ed Palsma to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute Piearres Olalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry de Vries saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birvan Spor Kulübü's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Dolf Schoonderwoerd scored to the left of an out of position Henry de Vries, making the score, 4-0. In the 45th minute, Dolf Schoonderwoerd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th match minute, The Underdogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustin Hațegan to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yüksel Refah to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulbaki Osmanoğlu came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vecdi Sulasi in the 54th minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jan Wessel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dolf Schoonderwoerd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry de Vries read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After 60 minutes of play, The Underdogs's Dolf Schoonderwoerd made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henry de Vries was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henry de Vries didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 71st minute of play forced Birvan Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Henry de Vries to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry de Vries didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Birvan Spor Kulübü's Henry de Vries played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 87th minute of play. Henry de Vries made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 88th minute of play. The Underdogs's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
