The supporters of Mestre GG booed when Cappadocia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naim Ökmen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Cappadocia FC defense, Benson Beverley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Egoitz. The Cappadocia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Egoitz should have stopped the shot. Juan Egoitz was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Jorginho Garcia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorginho Garcia really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benson Beverley got free with Juan Egoitz in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cappadocia FC's Juan Egoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Cappadocia FC from getting a goal against them. Juan Egoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Makarewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Mestre GG could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cappadocia FC throughout the match.
