Orhan Seyfi Üstün made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Emrah Öztay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Osmanlı İmparatorluğu booed when H E P T A N was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enes Sulasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, İrfan Altıncığlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enes Sulasi's late challenge caught a Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enes Sulasi helped the player get up and apologised. Enes Sulasi hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Enes Sulasi was shown his second yellow card after 17 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. With a little luck, H E P T A N's Orhan Seyfi Üstün got control of the ball when Emrah Öztay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Orhan Seyfi Üstün didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from İrfan Altıncığlu went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Aktuğ Kamran hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in H E P T A N's zone, İrfan Altıncığlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orhan Seyfi Üstün came out of the goal and İrfan Altıncığlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orhan Seyfi Üstün showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İrfan Altıncığlu in the 34th minute of the match. Orhan Seyfi Üstün stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İrfan Altıncığlu's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 3-0 when İrfan Altıncığlu sped through H E P T A N's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Orhan Seyfi Üstün. 39 minutes into the match, İrfan Altıncığlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orhan Seyfi Üstün. H E P T A N's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İrfan Altıncığlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Orhan Seyfi Üstün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İrfan Altıncığlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Orhan Yalvaç stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the H E P T A N defense, İrfan Altıncığlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orhan Seyfi Üstün. The H E P T A N fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orhan Seyfi Üstün should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erim Salti during the 54th minute. But to his dismay, Richard Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. A throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game was made by Latif Uğurtay with İlhami Akkurt as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Franc Debuire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Osmanlı İmparatorluğu booed when H E P T A N was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Kağan Çelikel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
