Alp Enginalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Tolino having to interfere. istanbulls's Luís Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Senna in the 19th minute of play forced Made in Honduras's goalkeeper Fulgencio Tolino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. istanbulls were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Made in Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. İsmail Doğa took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Aleksander Giec managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 33rd match minute, Made in Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ben Delaune to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th match minute, istanbulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeng Chong Kang to maneuver through the defense. istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save istanbulls from getting a goal against them. Fulgencio Tolino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeng Chong Kang in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, istanbulls's İsmail Doğa got a free kick in the 42nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Ben Delaune got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Senna to strike the kick off in the second half. When Luís Senna came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the istanbulls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Senna couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Made in Honduras's Ben Delaune got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Alp Enginalp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Tolino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Fulgencio Tolino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Alp Enginalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fulgencio Tolino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Senna in the 68th minute of the match. Diego Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diego Ramos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Made in Honduras's Diego Ramos got a free kick in the 71st minute. istanbulls's Göksel Canfeda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Villanueva in the 76th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Timofej Bianchini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Made in Honduras's Ruth Schilder was substituted for Mike Tardy. A collision led to Made in Honduras getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Timofej Bianchini hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Made in Honduras's goalkeeper Fulgencio Tolino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İsmail Doğa. The supporters of Made in Honduras booed when istanbulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeng Chong Kang didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Abundio Carranza in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by istanbulls's Haldun Özol.
