Rivaldo Ferreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Belasko Aizpurua made a huge save. In the 14th match minute, Hayalim Kedoshim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Ayaso to maneuver through the defense. Rivaldo Ferreira struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Belasko Aizpurua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Machu Picchu. Sarracino Botas hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Belasko Aizpurua acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ramazan Yalkı. Senin Esteve took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francesco Toldo. Francesco Toldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Hayalim Kedoshim's Odilon Barbera got a free kick in the 31st minute. Aydın Ustaoğlu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Belasko Aizpurua. Hayalim Kedoshim's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 34th minute, Rivaldo Ferreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Belasko Aizpurua was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Arnoldo Armentia charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnoldo Armentia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 42 minutes into the match, Hayalim Kedoshim's goalkeeper Belasko Aizpurua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rivaldo Ferreira. The supporters of Machu Picchu booed when Hayalim Kedoshim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Ayaso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Ramazan Yalkı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Machu Picchu's Şahin Ruhittin got a free kick in the 55th minute. With a little luck, Machu Picchu's Francesco Toldo got control of the ball when Arnoldo Armentia tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute, Senin Esteve left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hayalim Kedoshim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Belasko Aizpurua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behlül Tacik in the 62nd minute of play. Arnoldo Armentia was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Hayalim Kedoshim getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Arnoldo Armentia hit a great ball. Ramazan Yalkı took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Belasko Aizpurua. Hayalim Kedoshim's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Francesco Toldo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Machu Picchu's Francesco Toldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odilon Barbera in the 83rd minute of play. In the 95th minute, one of Hayalim Kedoshim:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hayalim Kedoshim. The referee gave Machu Picchu a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ramazan Yalkı, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hayalim Kedoshim's Belasko Aizpurua. 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hayalim Kedoshim had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
