Dieter Nisipeanu went to the cornerflag to take it. Dieter Nisipeanu made a great header on FC Maci -MM-'s corner, it was just that Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 12th minute, Sami Zübeyr made a precise shot to the right of Walter Zenga. Scorpions -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some careless play in the Scorpions -MM- defense, Sami Zübeyr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walter Zenga. The Scorpions -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walter Zenga should have stopped the shot. Costel Ţintă's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Tristan Falco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 22nd minute of play. Walter Zenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Zübeyr in the 24th minute of the match. Walter Zenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sami Zübeyr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Sami Zübeyr notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga. Walter Zenga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aron Câmpeanu lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Scorpions -MM-:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Maci -MM-:s goal. Walter Zenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sami Zübeyr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walter Zenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Zübeyr in the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Golescu in the 46th minute of play forced FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Tristan Falco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Numan Tanuğur recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tristan Falco. Numan Tanuğur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Scorpions -MM-'s Mihai Stoleru was substituted for Alexandru Zăvoiu. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sami Zübeyr made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Sami Zübeyr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Zenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute of the match FC Maci -MM- got a corner. Scorpions -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dieter Nisipeanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led FC Maci -MM-'s Dieter Nisipeanu to fire away a dangerous shot which Walter Zenga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scorpions -MM-'s goalie prevented a goal. After 65 played minutes FC Maci -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Igor Czapski. After a defensive mix-up in Scorpions -MM-'s zone, Sami Zübeyr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Zenga came out of the goal and Sami Zübeyr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Felix Lucaci replaced Martin Costeiantu. After 76 minutes of play, FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walter Zenga was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Golescu in the 81st minute of play forced FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Tristan Falco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Costel Ţintă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Scorpions -MM- from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the match, Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Walter Zenga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Czapski. In the 90th minute, Sami Zübeyr ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walter Zenga was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. FC Maci -MM-'s Anatoly Karpov was substituted for Igor Czapski. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Maci -MM- eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
