Marius Niculescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Golescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Vali Papaiani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Traian Uzuneanu fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scorpions -MM-'s protests and gave Traian Uzuneanu a yellow card for diving instead. Traian Uzuneanu hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Ramos in the 30th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Edu Ramos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga. Walter Zenga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 40 minutes, Teodor Nisporeanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scorpions -MM- and the FC BRADUL -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Scorpions -MM-'s Walter Zenga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Scorpions -MM- from getting a goal against them. Marius Niculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Numan Tanuğur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vali Papaiani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Zenga having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Walter Zenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurențiu Vlădoiu in the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Scorpions -MM- booed when FC BRADUL -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edu Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC BRADUL -MM-'s Adam Ciocoiu was substituted for Vali Papaiani. After 65 played minutes FC BRADUL -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Edu Ramos. Walter Zenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Ciocoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Edu Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Zenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costel Ţintă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Marius Niculescu made a huge save. Laurențiu Vlădoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Zenga having to interfere. Walter Zenga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. FC BRADUL -MM-'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
