After 7 minutes, Gheorghe Birișu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minerul Baita -MM- and the FC Maci -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gheorghe Birișu kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Emanuel Lasker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tristan Falco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allan Shearer's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Shearer in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tristan Falco saved FC Maci -MM- from getting behind. Sabin Miclauș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Şantău. Nistor Maghiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Czapski in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Octav Albescu came free, but Tristan Falco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sami Zübeyr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciprian Alexe in the 27th minute of play forced FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Tristan Falco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niculae Şantău sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sami Zübeyr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nistor Maghiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sami Zübeyr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Minerul Baita -MM- getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Octav Albescu hit a great ball. In the 61st minute of the match Emanuel Lasker shot from a long distance.
