Rosendo Seguinus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Czapski, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Sami Zübeyr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Rosendo Seguinus made a huge save. Vladimir Kramnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Udrişte in the 24th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Maci -MM- defense, Bogdan Udrişte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimir Kramnik. The FC Maci -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimir Kramnik should have stopped the shot. Rareș Ignea's late challenge caught a ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rareș Ignea helped the player get up and apologised. Vladimir Kramnik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fryderyk Witwicki's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Czapski in the 35th minute of play forced ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Rosendo Seguinus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Igor Czapski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Seguinus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Maci -MM-'s Vladimir Kramnik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Cazacu in the 41st minute of play.

Rosendo Seguinus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Czapski in the 52nd minute of the match. Rosendo Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Miclauș in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Petru. Rosendo Seguinus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sami Zübeyr went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the match, Sami Zübeyr had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rosendo Seguinus. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sami Zübeyr was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. FC Maci -MM-'s Răzvan Stanomir was substituted for Martin Costeiantu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Miclauș in the 72nd minute of play forced ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Rosendo Seguinus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogdan Udrişte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. 89 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Igor Czapski came free, but Rosendo Seguinus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 93rd minute of play forced ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Rosendo Seguinus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
