After taking down the ball on FC Maci -MM-'s corner Igor Czapski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Liviu Iordache quite easily take care of the ball. After 7 minutes of play, FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Liviu Iordache was left in no man's land by his defense there! 10 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Dieter Nisipeanu came free, but Liviu Iordache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Vladimir Kramnik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sorin Hurdubețiu. In the 15th minute Tractorul Satulung -MM- were awarded a corner. Ovidiu Șişman went to the cornerflag to take it. Liviu Iordache stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sami Zübeyr's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute of the match FC Maci -MM- got a corner. In the 30th minute Mădălin Cangeopol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Kramnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 minutes of play, FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Liviu Iordache was left in no man's land by his defense there! Liviu Iordache came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr. But to his dismay, Sami Zübeyr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 47th minute, Sami Zübeyr left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Maci -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The Tractorul Satulung -MM- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Maci -MM- were winning 0-4.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Hurdubețiu in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Vladimir Kramnik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liviu Iordache stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sami Zübeyr's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Maci -MM-'s Sami Zübeyr slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Liviu Iordache. That made the score 0-5 after 62 minutes of play. 73 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper Liviu Iordache had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sami Zübeyr. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Sami Zübeyr took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Liviu Iordache to make any attempt to save it. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Alper Benli was substituted for Sorin Hurdubețiu. 81 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Cangeopol came free, but Vladimir Kramnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Vladimir Kramnik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vladimir Kramnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heintje Gamarra in the 84th minute of the match. Liviu Iordache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Zübeyr in the 86th minute of the match. If Sami Zübeyr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. FC Maci -MM-'s Anatoly Karpov was substituted for Igor Czapski. In the 96th minute, one of FC Maci -MM-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Maci -MM-. The FC Maci -MM- players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
