After having played for 17 minutes, Miguel Ángel Benito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cascadia United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Ángel Benito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cascadia United's Baltasar Piorno managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pankracy Imbor in the 20 minute of the game. After 24 minutes, Miguel Ángel Benito made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Torino FC's Tomás Bonifaco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Cascadia United's Leonel Rocco got control of the ball when Hans-Hermann Spieler tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Hans-Hermann Spieler took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Leonel Rocco to make any attempt to save it. Cascadia United's attentive Baltasar Piorno managed to snatch the ball when Pankracy Imbor made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. A collision led to Torino FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Bartolo Ishmael hit a great ball. If Miguel Ángel Benito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Ángel Benito struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Tomás Bonifaco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cascadia United. Baltasar Piorno hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Leonel Rocco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartolo Ishmael in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartolo Ishmael to make the kick off. Torino FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans-Hermann Spieler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cascadia United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arí da Fonseca ran over to the corner to take the kick. Torino FC's Arí da Fonseca was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leonel Rocco in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
