When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Ángel Benito made a kick off. The supporters of Cascadia United booed when Barsa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dick Lundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Miguel Ángel Benito took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Epifanio Iratzeder to make any attempt to save it.
