The crowd rose to their feet as Cascadia United's Miguel Ángel Benito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomás Bonifaco. That made the score 1-1 after 10 minutes of play. 14 minutes into the match, Miguel Ángel Benito notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Torino FC's Tomás Bonifaco. Tomás Bonifaco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wang Di Yi in the 18th minute of play forced Torino FC's goalkeeper Tomás Bonifaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Torino FC booed when Cascadia United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tamás Lovas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonel Rocco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Ishmael, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to Torino FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Silvério Madureira hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Gogo Fidele sped through Cascadia United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonel Rocco. Leonel Rocco came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Torino FC's Bartolo Ishmael. But to his dismay, Bartolo Ishmael quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When Torino FC's Bartolo Ishmael in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cascadia United's goalie prevented a goal. The Cascadia United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Torino FC were winning 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Ángel Benito to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Cascadia United's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Ishmael came free, but Leonel Rocco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Epifanio Savion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Rocco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Ishmael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abelardo Tonio kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Leonel Rocco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartolo Ishmael in the 66th minute. When Miguel Ángel Benito came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Cascadia United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Ángel Benito couldn't finish the play. Bartolo Ishmael's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Rocco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Fidele in the 74th minute of play forced Cascadia United's goalkeeper Leonel Rocco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cascadia United's Leonel Rocco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Fidele in the 75th minute of play. When Torino FC's Bartolo Ishmael in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Leonel Rocco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Leonel Rocco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Ishmael in the 85th minute of play. In the 85th minute Bartolo Ishmael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Rocco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
