The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Romulo Jon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Izotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Harry Deckberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romulo Jon. EL PEPO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harry Deckberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Mauro Izotz lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Romulo Jon. Romulo Jon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Melquiades Esiquio went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Harry Deckberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Romulo Jon came out and tried to block the shot, but Harry Deckberg slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 18th minute. EL PEPO FC's Romulo Jon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Esiquio in the 21st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Romulo Jon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Harry Deckberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romulo Jon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Majadita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Beltxe came free, but Federico Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Majadita FC's Enrique Charro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Freddy Camerino, made in the 34th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Mauro Izotz took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Romulo Jon to make any attempt to save it. 43 minutes into the game, Herminio Afonso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EL PEPO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Majadita FC the free kick. After 43 played minutes EL PEPO FC got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Afonso. Melquiades Esiquio scored 6-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romulo Jon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

In the 51st minute Enrique Charro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 53rd minute, Celso Inge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. EL PEPO FC's Romulo Jon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Izotz in the 56th minute of play. Harry Deckberg took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romulo Jon. Romulo Jon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Majadita FC made a substitution. Amado Guevara replaced Mauro Izotz. If Harry Deckberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute, Amado Guevara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Majadita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. 69 minutes into the match, Harry Deckberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romulo Jon. Romulo Jon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Deckberg in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Guevara in the 79th minute of play forced EL PEPO FC's goalkeeper Romulo Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Harry Deckberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Romulo Jon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Romulo Jon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harry Deckberg's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Melquiades Esiquio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romulo Jon. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Majadita FC fully deserved thier win.
