Alberto Tonete started the match with the kick off. If Antonio Perrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute Luis Navarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlado Delchev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute Ion Hidiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Gustau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Newpi Academy's Vlado Delchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Rudy in the 14th minute of play. Teodosio Farias was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 16 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Legio X Eqvestris fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! Ariel Gustau had in the 18thth minute some difficulties stopping Antonio Perrando's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tonete got free with Ariel Gustau in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, Legio X Eqvestris's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tonete came free, but Ariel Gustau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Newpi Academy were awarded a corner. Antonio Perrando went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Newpi Academy's Antonio Perrando to fire away a dangerous shot which Ariel Gustau despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 28 played minutes Legio X Eqvestris got a freekick which was hit by Tadeusz Rudy. In the 33rd minute, Newpi Academy's Alberto Tonete dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Legio X Eqvestris's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antonio Perrando was slow to take the kick. During this time Newpi Academy's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Newpi Academy's corner Antonio Perrando fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ariel Gustau quite easily take care of the ball. Newpi Academy's Alberto Tonete got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Legio X Eqvestris's zone, Antonio Perrando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Gustau came out of the goal and Antonio Perrando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute Newpi Academy were awarded a corner. Antonio Perrando went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Antonio Perrando almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Legio X Eqvestris's Ariel Gustau did a great save. Nereo Jakes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tadeusz Rudy kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ariel Gustau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tonete in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tonete in the 59th minute of play forced Legio X Eqvestris's goalkeeper Ariel Gustau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Perrando ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Newpi Academy's corner Antonio Perrando fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ariel Gustau quite easily take care of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Nereo Jakes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Legio X Eqvestris getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Tadeusz Rudy hit a great ball. After 87 played minutes Legio X Eqvestris got a freekick which was hit by Slawomir Podwojski. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Newpi Academy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Legio X Eqvestris had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
