The corner led to Legio X Eqvestris's Marcelino Kimetz getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Aves Negras's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Aimar came free, but Marcial Bakar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Legio X Eqvestris's Generoso Emenon got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Guter Tobia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ariel Gustau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guter Tobia in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Legio X Eqvestris's zone, Guter Tobia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Gustau came out of the goal and Guter Tobia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Guter Tobia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aves Negras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Ariel Gustau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovani Lo Celso in the 44th minute of the match.

Aves Negras made a substitution. Aaron Gallagher replaced Humberto Urtsin. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pablo Aimar to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Legio X Eqvestris's goalkeeper Ariel Gustau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guter Tobia. In the 59th match minute, Aves Negras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Padro to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guter Tobia got free with Ariel Gustau in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 83 minutes of play, Aves Negras's Guter Tobia made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ariel Gustau was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aves Negras's Efrain Artal was substituted for Guter Tobia. If Luis Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Legio X Eqvestris's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Artal came free, but Ariel Gustau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Although Legio X Eqvestris had been in control for most of the match, Aves Negras still came away with the win.
