Bayan Gugovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogumil Dombrowski in the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediberto Sampaio in the 14th minute of play forced Graneros's goalkeeper Attilio Perna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darwin Núñez scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Attilio Perna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ediberto Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Attilio Perna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner led Merengue FC's Ismael Frances to fire away a dangerous shot which Attilio Perna despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bayan Gugovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Lesardo in the 32nd minute of the match. Bayan Gugovski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christian Lesardo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 42 minute of play. Bayan Gugovski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliberto Otsando in the 45th minute. After 47 minutes of play, Merengue FC's Ediberto Sampaio made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Attilio Perna was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Graneros players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Merengue FC were winning 1-2.

In the 52nd match minute, Merengue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darwin Núñez to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Otsando came free, but Bayan Gugovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Graneros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Annilker to maneuver through the defense. After 58 played minutes Merengue FC got a freekick which was hit by Maxi Nuñez. 60 minutes into the match, Darwin Núñez notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Graneros's Attilio Perna. Attilio Perna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ediberto Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Perna having to interfere. In the 69thth minute of the game Aquiles Urtsin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Graneros's Attilio Perna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ye Zheng Ming charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ye Zheng Ming the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Merengue FC booed when Graneros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ye Zheng Ming didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquiles Urtsin struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Attilio Perna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merengue FC. After 77 played minutes Graneros got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Tallia. In the 80th match minute, Merengue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Dimas to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Feliberto Otsando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bayan Gugovski was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Bayan Gugovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Lesardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquiles Urtsin in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Attilio Perna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, Feliberto Otsando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Merengue FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Merengue FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
