Mattijs Robijns might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over René Stam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mattijs Robijns ran back to his position shaking his head. René Stam stood somewhat misplaced when Fernando Noguera came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 34 minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

René Stam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Porfirio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
