Aristides Etxeberri thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Aaron Inge, a very annoying self made goal in the 34th minute which led to 0-2. 秦西星 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aaron Inge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 谢亦寒 in the 43rd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, 谢亦寒 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Las Palmas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Las Palmas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
