Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Palermo's Santiago Mino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lisandro Nuñez. After 5 minutes Palermo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ernie Siegel who took care of the corner kick. The corner led SAN LORENZO FC's Claudio Quentin to fire away a dangerous shot which Alfredo Joey despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Palermo's Alfredo Joey got control of the ball when Lisandro Nuñez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelo Michael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alfredo Joey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute SAN LORENZO FC were awarded a corner. Ernie Siegel went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Ernie Siegel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alfredo Joey quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 24th minute, Maximino Gonzalez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Astigar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dario Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Rozarius in the 26th minute of the match. They were losing 0-2.

SAN LORENZO FC's Harry Styles was substituted for Claudio Quentin. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lisandro Nuñez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Palermo's zone, Lv Tian Yuan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Joey came out of the goal and Lv Tian Yuan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Sebastian Iliana replaced Lisandro Nuñez. Isaias Grove made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SAN LORENZO FC's Julien Corbeau. Alfredo Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Iliana in the 84th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Iliana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Joey was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jhonny Del Fierro came free, but Dario Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palermo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
