Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lisandro Nuñez kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Lisandro Nuñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoldo Medina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Santiago Mino sped through SAN LORENZO FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dario Astigar. With an all-out effort, Palermo's Dario Astigar threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arnoldo Medina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lisandro Nuñez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Joey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Mino got free with Dario Astigar in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, Carolo Rozarius dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dario Astigar, 2-0. 24 minutes into the match, Santiago Mino notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of SAN LORENZO FC's Dario Astigar. Dario Astigar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Palermo were furious when Arkadiusz Glowacki was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 28th minute, one of Palermo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Palermo. Palermo:s Alfredo Joey showed great skill when he stopped Lisandro Nuñez:s penalty. Claudio Quentin's late challenge caught a Palermo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Quentin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Claudio Quentin hit a great ball. Arnoldo Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Astigar having to interfere. Arnoldo Medina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carolo Rozarius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Dario Astigar made a huge save. Alfredo Joey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lisandro Nuñez went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Medina to make the kick off. If Lisandro Nuñez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palermo made a substitution. Marcelino Chaime replaced Carolo Rozarius. After taking down the ball on SAN LORENZO FC's corner Ernie Siegel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfredo Joey quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lisandro Nuñez in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Joey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 65 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Saul Felo. Alfredo Joey was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ernie Siegel. After 68 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Gaitano. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Hernan Ixidor replaced Dalmacio Gaitano. After a defensive mix-up in Palermo's zone, Harry Styles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Joey came out of the goal and Harry Styles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sebastian Iliana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Joey having to interfere. Palermo's Jhonny Del Fierro was substituted for Arnoldo Medina. After a defensive mix-up in SAN LORENZO FC's zone, Marcelino Chaime stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Astigar came out of the goal and Marcelino Chaime tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dario Astigar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Alfredo Joey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Iliana in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute SAN LORENZO FC were awarded a corner. Ernie Siegel went to the cornerflag to take it. Alfredo Joey came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by SAN LORENZO FC's Sebastian Iliana. But to his dismay, Sebastian Iliana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Dario Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Chaime in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Harry Styles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the SAN LORENZO FC defense, Jhonny Del Fierro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dario Astigar. The SAN LORENZO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Astigar should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Palermo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
