Hugo Orlando Gatti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máximo Kirchner, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Stehno got free with Hugo Orlando Gatti in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Kirchner came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Unidad de Matanza's corner Waldemar Okopny fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hugo Orlando Gatti quite easily take care of the ball. There was no doubt that Unidad de Matanza were the better team. Unidad de Matanza's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
