Cecilio Tristan took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Beliran. Rodrigo Beliran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maximo Abajas kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Cecilio Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Genaro Elivareo was slow to take the kick. During this time Abuba Akotonon FC's players had a chance to rest. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cecilio Tristan to strike the kick off in the second half. Ariel Artaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Rodrigo Beliran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Sobczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vânderson Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣'s Agah Özver. But to his dismay, Agah Özver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣'s Melquiades Gurutz was substituted for Yao Yong Yuan. ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣ made a substitution. Fernan Casado replaced Maximo Abajas. Genaro Elivareo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Rodrigo Beliran when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abuba Akotonon FC were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Genaro Elivareo took the corner. Emanuel Aurre was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Saturnino Ibañez's late challenge caught a Abuba Akotonon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saturnino Ibañez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th match minute, Abuba Akotonon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Oxarra to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute of the game Ernesto Oxarra made a throw-in which Vânderson Barbosa played forward.
