Pierluigi Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marten Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The corner led to Belfegor FC's Piotr Zielinski getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, Belfegor FC's Simon Lapurdi got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Jacob Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. Evaristo Ponciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the game, KaoS Futbol Club's Jacob Albuquerque nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evaristo Ponciano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Pierluigi Buffon was a little too slow when Marten Palermo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-1. The supporters of Belfegor FC booed when KaoS Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Tabb didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Everardo Colas to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacob Albuquerque might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Ponciano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacob Albuquerque ran back to his position shaking his head. 51 minutes into the match, Belfegor FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Albuquerque came free, but Evaristo Ponciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KaoS Futbol Club's Amancio Semeno managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Walter Erviti in the 61 minute of the game. When Igor Lebas came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the KaoS Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Lebas couldn't finish the play. When Simon Lapurdi fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belfegor FC's protests and gave Simon Lapurdi a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched KaoS Futbol Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
