Maximino Cabezon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernán Leandro couldn't finish the play. ACF Fiorentina were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cremonese for a fine match.
