After 2 played minutes BATIgol FC got a freekick which was hit by Zacharias Souflas. BATIgol FC's Angel Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qiu Yuan Jun in the 4th minute of play. After 6 minutes BATIgol FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celedonio Fonda who took care of the corner kick. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind BATIgol FC's goalkeeper Angel Peruzzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by BATIgol FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celedonio Fonda was slow to take the kick. During this time Knight Of Dawn's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Knight Of Dawn's corner Celedonio Fonda fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angel Peruzzi quite easily take care of the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Knight Of Dawn's Qiu Yuan Jun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angel Peruzzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute Julian Unax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match BATIgol FC got a corner. Knight Of Dawn's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alvaro Elija ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alvaro Elija made a great header on BATIgol FC's corner, it was just that Knight Of Dawn's Denis Urtats managed to reach the ball for a save. Denis Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Orti in the 27th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, BATIgol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Qiu Yuan Jun came free, but Angel Peruzzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Gregorio Caton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Qiu Yuan Jun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Angel Peruzzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qiu Yuan Jun in the 41st minute of the match. Porfírio Quirino hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Qiu Yuan Jun to make the kick off. Jan-Erik Winström kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Knight Of Dawn made a substitution. Bruno Norino replaced Klement Belko. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Knight Of Dawn's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alvaro Elija was slow to take the kick. During this time BATIgol FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 67th play minute Qiu Yuan Jun came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Angel Peruzzi. 0-1. Bruno Norino succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 73rd playminute. Angel Peruzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qiu Yuan Jun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Peruzzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qiu Yuan Jun in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qiu Yuan Jun in the 78th minute of play forced BATIgol FC's goalkeeper Angel Peruzzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Knight Of Dawn were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after BATIgol FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celedonio Fonda took the corner. Feliciano Orti took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Urtats. Denis Urtats dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 90th minute, Qiu Yuan Jun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Danilo Matro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Angel Peruzzi. That made the score 1-3 in the 93 minute of play. The Knight Of Dawn supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Knight Of Dawn would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
