Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Lamberto in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Baumer came free, but Basri İhtiyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match Zuberbühler FC got a corner. Yalapa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abelardo Nardo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Zuberbühler FC from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fermin Dolfo to make the kick off. In the 95th minute, Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı made a precise shot to the right of Napoleon Dziedelonis. Zuberbühler FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
