Martin Leheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julius Klačko, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Olaf Kisielka kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
Görkem Tokdemir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Casciano in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, La MaKina del Parque's goal looked a bit too open when Miran Moco came free, but Görkem Tokdemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Sven-Olof Hamberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Martin Leheren. The goal made the score 2-1. Sven-Olof Hamberg hit a great ball. After 91 played minutes La MaKina del Parque got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Pero. Thibault Moon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Görkem Tokdemir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Sven-Olof Hamberg scored 2-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Leheren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. La MaKina del Parque were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
