In the 7th minute Pedrinho Falconetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Santoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 武光星 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pepe Santoro having to make a save. Pedrinho Falconetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepe Santoro having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Cacerola's goalkeeper Shao Shu Lang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Beltran. Isidoro Beltrans short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Shao Shu Lang to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Arsenio Rito might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Shao Shu Lang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arsenio Rito ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedrinho Falconetti in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pepe Santoro saved Independiente from getting behind. Shao Shu Lang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Beltran in the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, one of Independiente:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Independiente. 27 minutes into the game, Cacerola's Uriel Peio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pepe Santoro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Shao Shu Lang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shao Shu Lang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sören Bengtsson in the 31st minute. Cacerola's Pedrinho Falconetti got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arsenio Rito had several of the Cacerola's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 45 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Shao Shu Lang as he didn't even see the shot coming. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Pepe Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Bernabel in the 51st minute of the match. In the 51st minute, Øssur í Lon Jacobsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Independiente's Pepe Santoro got control of the ball when Pedrinho Falconetti tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Cacerola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Bernabel to maneuver through the defense. Cacerola made a substitution. The supporters of Cacerola booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Mendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
