In the 4th minute, Agustin Silvino made a precise shot to the right of Cipriano Urbasa. Gunners's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Bide in the 8th minute of play forced Pincha FC's goalkeeper Carlos Quentin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute of the game Ramon-Angel Sadurni made a throw-in which Jorge Carrascal played forward. Cipriano Urbasa was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Agustin Silvino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Agustin Silvino really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Cipriano Urbasa made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Marcial Roldanillo sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Ruperto Bide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Quentin was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Gunners's Cipriano Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Roldanillo in the 37th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Gunners was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhittin Tuyuğ to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Gunners's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Silvino came free, but Cipriano Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gunners booed when Pincha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Silvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Bide came free, but Carlos Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match Gunners got a corner. Pincha FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mauricio Mingo ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 43rd minute, one of Pincha FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pincha FC. Carlos Quentin had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Mauricio Mingo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruperto Bide to make the kick off. Giorgos Kretsos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Quentin having to interfere. Agustin Silvino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Urbasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Carlos Quentin made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Muhittin Tuyuğ sent off a good shot on target. Cipriano Urbasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Silvino in the 65th minute of the match. Carlos Quentin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhittin Tuyuğ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcial Roldanillo in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cipriano Urbasa saved Gunners from getting behind. Eneko Lillo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The supporters of Pincha FC booed when Gunners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eneko Lillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcial Roldanillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cipriano Urbasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcial Roldanillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Ruperto Bide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Carlos Quentin made a huge save. 91 minutes into the game, Agustin Silvino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Cipriano Urbasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pincha FC fully deserved thier win.
