The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Tord Söderqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's supporters rose to their feet, but Tord Söderqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaac Aimar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tord Söderqvist in the 6th minute of play forced Willy Brown FC's goalkeeper Isaac Aimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Aimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ángel Romero in the 7th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tord Söderqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaac Aimar was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 11th minute of the match, Jacinto Gaitano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vicky Donda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jacinto Gaitano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Vicky Donda made a huge save. Hernan Chico took the corner. The corner ended in Hernan Chico almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Willy Brown FC's Isaac Aimar did a great save. Isaac Aimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Söderqvist in the 24th minute of play. Isaac Aimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Söderqvist in the 26th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Lajos Szatmári got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Isaac Aimar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Isaac Aimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Söderqvist in the 31st minute of play. Tord Söderqvist took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaac Aimar. Isaac Aimar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 37 minutes into the game, ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Tord Söderqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaac Aimar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 43 minutes into the match, Tord Söderqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaac Aimar. Willy Brown FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tord Söderqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Willy Brown FC's goalkeeper Isaac Aimar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tord Söderqvist was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ángel Romero in the 54th minute of play forced Willy Brown FC's goalkeeper Isaac Aimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Tord Söderqvist in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Willy Brown FC's goalie prevented a goal. Atilano Rico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicky Donda having to make a save. Willy Brown FC's Tiro Aureo was substituted for Jacinto Gaitano. A collision led to Willy Brown FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Anselmo Hernandez hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Willy Brown FC's zone, Hernan Chico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Aimar came out of the goal and Hernan Chico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Tord Söderqvist came free and shot a quick shot against goal 65 minutes in the game, fortunately Isaac Aimar had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Tord Söderqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 73 minutes of play, Willy Brown FC's Atilano Rico made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicky Donda was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the match, Willy Brown FC's goalkeeper Isaac Aimar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tord Söderqvist. Willy Brown FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Tord Söderqvist scored to the left of an out of position Isaac Aimar, making the score, 1-5. Tord Söderqvist took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaac Aimar. Isaac Aimar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. After 92 played minutes Willy Brown FC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Telo. The ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
