After a defensive mix-up in Azulgranas AFC's zone, Tiro Aureo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Senon came out of the goal and Tiro Aureo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Azulgranas AFC booed when Willy Brown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Telo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Radomir Naskrent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Azulgranas AFC's Michaël Myers in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Willy Brown FC's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiro Aureo in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bonifacio Senon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bonifacio Senon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiro Aureo in the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Tiro Aureo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bonifacio Senon. Tiro Aureo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The throw-in from Urbano Bermund in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Azulgranas AFC's Otto Copperfield. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Otto Copperfield managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azulgranas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Otto Copperfield was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaac Aimar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Otto Copperfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Urbano Bermund fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Willy Brown FC's protests and gave Urbano Bermund a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Willy Brown FC's Urbano Bermund got a free kick in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guilherme Cruz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Willy Brown FC's Isaac Aimar got control of the ball when Otto Copperfield tried to sneak it across the goal line. Otto Copperfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Azulgranas AFC's Sebastián Méndez suffered a concussion in the 67th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Tiro Aureo charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiro Aureo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Willy Brown FC's Tiro Aureo got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute of the match Azulgranas AFC got a corner. Willy Brown FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Radomir Naskrent ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Azulgranas AFC's Radomir Naskrent to fire away a dangerous shot which Isaac Aimar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Otto Copperfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the game, Michaël Myers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Isaac Aimar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 81 minutes of play, Azulgranas AFC's Michaël Myers made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaac Aimar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Urbano Bermund was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Isaac Aimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michaël Myers, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Willy Brown FC's goalkeeper Isaac Aimar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michaël Myers. When the match was over Azulgranas AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Willy Brown FC throughout the match.
