When Pablo Lizzio fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cable a Tierra's protests and gave Pablo Lizzio a yellow card for diving instead. Santos Hori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Lizzio in the 20th minute of play. Eusebio Gorosti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santos Hori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Cable a Tierra's Fernan Lugo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Santos Hori in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 43 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Belo came free, but Apolo Quilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Lucila. 45 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Palos came free, but Apolo Quilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusebio Gorosti to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Cable a Tierra got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Cisneros. Apolo Quilo was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Fidel Espiridion capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fidel Espiridion really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Fernan Lugo got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 67th minute, Fernan Lugo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cable a Tierra's Generoso Tavio was substituted for Eusebio Gorosti. Cable a Tierra's Baltasar Gaitan was substituted for Pablo Lizzio. The supporters of Howling Dawn U18 booed when Cable a Tierra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Lugo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeledon Dino scored 0-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Quilo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Cable a Tierra's zone, Florencio Fernendo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Quilo came out of the goal and Florencio Fernendo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fidel Espiridion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After recieving a nice pass, Howling Dawn U18's Moises Belo tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Howling Dawn U18 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
