The audience was convinced that Başaran Kuvvet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dillon McDonough was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Başaran Kuvvet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Cloud FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Başaran Kuvvet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dillon McDonough breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th match minute, Racing Miami Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Metcalf to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ender Akay got free with Dillon McDonough in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes in the game Santos Metcalf did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Mark Boyle. In the 14th minute, Alican Çakman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Miami Futbol Club's zone, Başaran Kuvvet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dillon McDonough came out of the goal and Başaran Kuvvet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dillon McDonough made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ali Nejat Uçanay sent off a good shot on target. After 26 minutes, Başaran Kuvvet made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Dillon McDonough tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Balaban Orcaner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonzo Wolfe in the 28th minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Alfonzo Wolfe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Cloud FC's Balaban Orcaner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 32 minutes of play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Colby Roth made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Balaban Orcaner was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Başaran Kuvvet came free, but Dillon McDonough reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Başaran Kuvvet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Dillon McDonough made a huge save. If Alfonzo Wolfe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfonzo Wolfe was the one to do the kick off. If Sterling Sosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Başaran Kuvvet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dillon McDonough saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dillon McDonough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Başaran Kuvvet, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonzo Wolfe in the 67th minute of play forced Black Cloud FC's goalkeeper Balaban Orcaner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Başaran Kuvvet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ali Nejat Uçanay hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Dillon McDonough didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Başaran Kuvvet went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Black Cloud FC's Balaban Orcaner got control of the ball when Alfonzo Wolfe tried to sneak it across the goal line.
